Lylia ISK writes novels that bring human mechanisms to light. She explores those almost imperceptible moments when a relationship, a decision, a silence or a truth is enough to change the course of a life.

Through deeply human characters, her stories invite readers to look differently at what they thought they knew, until they recognise a part of themselves in each story. Because page after page, someone else's story often ends up revealing our own.

Her novel, I Give Back What Was Never Mine, introduces two ideas that readers carry beyond the last page: the Dressed Madman, and the Mirror Questions.
